Abstract:V diplomski nalogi smo želeli raziskati, kako se lahko uporabijo koncepti iz pozitivne psihologije, pri čemer smo se osredotočili na model treh stebrov psihologije za pomoč osebam LGBTQ+ pri obvladovanju stresa manjšin. Pregledali smo model stresa manjšin in aplicirali pozitivno psihologijo na področja, kjer lahko naredimo pozitivne spremembe. Opisali smo predloge za psihologe, psihoterapevte in vse druge strokovnjake, ki se pri delu srečujejo s populacijo LGBTQ+, in se osredotočili na to, kako lahko pri svojem delu pomagajo tej populaciji.

Title:POSITIVE PSYCHOLOGY IN MANAGING MINORITY STRESS IN LGBTQ+ POPULATION.
Abstract:In this diploma work, we wanted to explore how concepts from positive psychology, focusing on the Three Pillars model of psychology, can be used to help LGBTQ+ people cope with minority stress. We reviewed the minority stress model and applied positive psychology to areas where positive change can be made. We outlined suggestions for psychologists, psychotherapists and all other professionals who encounter LGBTQ+ people and focused on how they can help LGBTQ+ people in their work.
