Rezultati: V raziskavo je bilo vključenih 50 zdravstvenih delavcev, kateri so dosegli povprečno oceno stresa 6,2 točke, kar jih uvršča v normalno stopnjo stresa.

Abstract:Introduction: Workplace stress is a significant factor that can negatively affect the health and well-being of healthcare workers, potentially leading to burnout, reduced productivity and negative consequences for patient care quality. This thesis aimed to assess the incidence of stress and identify factors associated with stress among healthcare workers employed in Health Centre X. Methods: This study used a quantitative research methodology. Data were collected through a survey conducted in September 2024 at Health Centre X among health workers, using an anonymous DASS-21 questionnaire to measure stress levels. Random sampling was applied, and data processing was performed using SPSS Statistics 29. Results: The study included 50 healthcare workers, who achieved an average stress score of 6.2, placing them within the normal stress range. Seventy per cent of the healthcare workers scored within the normal stress range. Work overload was identified as a factor significantly influencing stress levels among healthcare workers (p = 0.001). No statistically significant differences were observed in stress levels across gender and age groups. Additionally, there were no significant differences in stress levels between doctors and nurses. Discussion: Understanding the prevalence of stress among healthcare professionals is essential for developing effective interventions to reduce stress. Although stress among healthcare workers in healthcare centres is present, this area remains under-researched within the Slovenian context; therefore, additional studies are necessary.
