111. Obstacles to the Implementation of Innovations in Start-Up CompaniesNerman Ljevo, Sabina Šehić -Kršlak, original scientific article Abstract:
Research Question (RQ): Start-up companies represent the support of the development of every economy. However, this is a more fragile part of the economy, because a large number of start-up companies fail in the first years of their development. The results of previous research indicate that there are several reasons for the failure of start-ups, and one of the key ones is the difficult application of innovations. In today's modern and turbulent times, in the embrace of globalization, innovations are an absolute must have. All companies that are not innovatively oriented are doomed to failure. Even large, multinational companies pay for the lack of innovation, so this is a signal to start-ups that investing in innovation is the most important thing in their budget. However, there are numerous challenges and obstacles in the application of innovations at start-ups. The main problem of the research is to detect what are the most important obstacles and challenges for the application of innovations in Bosnian start-ups, and by what methods it is possible to overcome them.
Purpose: The main purpose of the research is to point out the obstacles and challenges faced by start-up companies in Bosnia and Herzegovina and to give adequate recommendations for start-ups as well as all interest groups, how to eliminate them effectively, in order to make the economy and business operations of the company more propulsive and proactive.
Method: In the theoretical explanation of the problem, sufficient information contained in previous researches will be gathered, regarding the considered issue. Through empirical research, it will be determined what the most common types of obstacles are and challenges faced by start-ups in Bosnia and Herzegovina, what types of innovations are most often implemented in start-up companies in Bosnia and Herzegovina and which methods and ways can be used to overcome the mentioned obstacles. The research will be done on a sample of 10 start-up companies in BiH.
Results: The results of the research will show what are the obstacles and challenges in the implementation of innovations recorded in the sample of observed start-ups, what types of innovations are most often implemented in start-ups in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and how to most effectively overcome obstacles in the implementation of innovations in start-ups, with the aim of their better and more successful business.
Organization: Through research of this type, managers of start-ups (or those who intend to become one) can more easily identify the basic obstacles in the implementation of innovations in their business, and use the proposed methods to overcome them, in order to make their business more stable and sustainable.
Society: Increasing the stability of start-ups brings long-term benefits for the entire society. Socially responsible business of start-ups can contribute to a better distribution of resources in society, which is desirable for all participants in society, but also for the environment.
Originality: Research of this type represents one of the rare researches on start-ups in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is a pioneering research in the context of challenges and obstacles in the implementation of innovations at start-ups in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Limitations / further research: Limitations: small sample size, difficulties in data collection. Recommendations: research on the implementation of innovations according to the areas in which start-ups operate.

112. Perspektiva moških in žensk v procesu skrbi za reproduktivno zdravjeAnton Grmšek Svetlin, Nika, Melisa Smajlović, Mirko Prosen, Rebeka Lekše, original scientific article Abstract:
Research Questions (RQ): What factors do men and women think influence the quality of their reproductive health? What differences exist between men and women in their perception of their own reproductive health? How do stigmas and taboos affect reproductive health?
Purpose: The purpose of this research was to examine the perspectives of men and women in the process of reproductive health care.
Method: Qualitative method was used. Data was collected from a purposive sample through semi-structured interviews conducted in four focus groups. The data was analyzed using content analysis.
Results: Results: three themes were identified through the qualitative analysis method: (1) reproductive health of men and women, (2) socio-cultural aspects of reproductive health, and (3) challenges of reproductive health. At the same time, 13 sub-themes were identified. The study showed that primary socialization has a significant impact on an individual's attitudes towards reproductive health in adulthood. It was found that women are more concerned about reproductive health than men. It was also found that stigmas and taboos, which prevent open discussion about reproductive health, have a major impact on the quality of reproductive health. This leads to lack of information, fear, discrimination and inequalities in access to health services.
Organization: The research highlights the need for more education and emphasis on preventive care and reducing social exclusion and stigma related to reproductive health.
Society: The results of the research contribute to a better understanding of men's and women's perceptions of reproductive health and how they think it is influenced by society. In this context, it also provides a better understanding of how stigmas and taboos affect reproductive health and how to seek help when reproductive health problems arise.
Originality: The research provides insights into the specific nature of men's and women's reproductive health and how society views it. The originality of the research is that it offers a broad insight into how men and women understand reproductive health. It also provides an outline of the current state of reproductive health in society.
Limitations/Future Research: The answers obtained from the interviewees are subjective in nature and are subject to interpretation by the researchers. It would be useful to conduct quantitative type of studies in the future. Also, one of the limitations is related to the research sample, which includes a set of interviewees from two Slovenian regions. In the future, it would be necessary to include interviewees from the whole of Slovenia so that the results can be generalized to the whole population.

113. Izboljšanje organizacije življenja študentovSrečo Zakrajšek, original scientific article Abstract:
Research Questions (RQs): 1. What are the key challenges that media production students face in balancing study, work, and personal commitments? 2. What is the overall impact of the use of artificial intelligence (in all segments of activity – school, work, leisure) on the organisation of the lives of media production students?
Purpose: The purpose of the research is to analyse the organisation of students' lives and propose strategies and tools to reduce negative stress and improve the balance between studies, work, and free time.
Method: The research is based on monitoring the preparation and implementation of the project "Improving the organisation of your life", which was carried out over three years by more than 80 FUDŠ students in the course Management and Organisation of Media Production. We used the methods of survey, project analysis and discussions. Artificial intelligence (ChatGPT) is involved in all phases of the research and project.
Results: Most students (over 70%) are not satisfied with the organisation of their lives before the start of the project and 70% of them report stress. The situation has improved greatly with the project "Improving the organisation of your life". Basic theoretical insights, techniques such as Time Blocking and Pomodoro, the Eisenhower Matrix method, the use of digital tools (Trello, Notion, Google Calendar) and especially ChatGPT improved productivity and reduced the feeling of being overwhelmed. The results show the positive impact of physical exercise and relaxation techniques on managing stress.
Organization: The research offers practical solutions, such as the integration of time management techniques and digital tools that can improve the study programme and the performance of students and the organisations in which they participate. Artificial intelligence programmes offer important opportunities, but we must take care to ensure that rationalisation studies are not engaged in at the expense of the quality of education and student competencies.
Society: A better organised student life can contribute to greater satisfaction, motivation, better health, and productivity in studies and work, which has a positive effect on society, higher GDP, and lower costs due to reduced absence from work, illness, etc.
Originality: The research combines existing theoretical approaches with innovative solutions, such as digital tools for task organisation and AI, and emphasises the importance of long-term implementation of techniques.
Limitations / further research: The small sample size and subjectivity of the results represent limitations. Further research with a larger sample and long-term follow-up is suggested.

115. Assessment of the Internal Efficiency of Slovenia's Tertiary Education SystemSandi Vrabec, Borut Kodrič, original scientific article Abstract:
Research Question (RQ): In this article, we address the question of how efficient Slovenia's tertiary education system is compared to the systems of other OECD member countries and identify elements within the Slovenian system that could be further improved to achieve optimal relative efficiency.
Purpose: The research aims to shed light on the internal efficiency of Slovenia's tertiary education system and compare it with those of other OECD member countries, with the goal of analyzing areas where the Slovenian system falls short of achieving optimal performance.
Method: Using theoretical foundations to identify relevant inputs and outputs, along with secondary data from international databases, we applied the DEA method to examine the internal efficiency of tertiary education systems in 29 OECD member countries with complete data available for the study period.
Results: Results show that Slovenia’s tertiary education system did not achieve optimal relative efficiency in any of the four models applied. In terms of relative efficiency, Slovenia ranked between 20th and 25th among the 29 OECD countries examined. To achieve optimal relative efficiency, improvements in output measures for both pedagogical and research activities should be made.
Organization: The research results can serve as a valuable tool for decision-makers at the national level, as well as for managers of individual tertiary education institutions, in achieving greater efficiency.
Society: Achieving efficiency in tertiary education is crucial for broader society, not only for individuals participating in the educational process but also due to the wider impact that tertiary education has on the economy and society.
Originality: This is the first research to provide an overview of past studies on the efficiency of tertiary education systems, with a focus on evaluating the outcomes of Slovenia's tertiary education system. The study also delves into a detailed assessment of its efficiency achievements.
Limitations / further research: The research is based on secondary data obtained from international databases. The studied sample is not randomly selected but includes countries for which complete data were available for the entire period. It would be appropriate to enhance the research with a broader sample of countries and by using other or additional inputs and outputs, especially those that reflect the qualitative component of the utilized inputs and outputs.

116. The Paradigm of the Iron TriangleMateja Burgar Makovec, original scientific article Abstract:
Background and Originality: The project triangle, also named as the triple constraint, iron triangle, golden triangle, and agile triangle, is a central concept in project management research and practice that represents the relationship between key performance measures. However, there is disagreement about which criteria should be represented at the vertices of this triangle. The purpose of this paper is to explore which concepts are part of the project triangle and how these concepts have changed over time.
Our purpose is to conduct a systematic review of scientific articles dealing with the topic of the project triangle and its elements (time, cost and scope). We want to demonstrate that there is a theoretical gap in the classical theory of the project triangle and that the elements of the project triangle are ultimately reflected in successful project management.
Addressing this topic will contribute to eliminating or at least reducing the perceived theoretical research gap, or confusion regarding the positioning of the elements of the project triangle and the connection of these elements to the success of projects.
Method: A systematic review of the scientific literature will be conducted using publicly available databases, namely "iron triangle", "triple constraint”, “project performance" and "success factors" as search terms. Scientific articles and doctoral/master's theses were searched in the databases Academia.edu, ProQuest, ScienceDirect, Elsevier/Scopus and Google Scholar. We excluded literature that does not directly relate to the field of research.
Results: We found out that there is a gap in the basic theory of the project triangle or to be more exact confusion about the positioning of quality and scope of the project in the project triangle. We therefore want to reduce the gap and confirm the thesis that quality is not one of the 3 elements of the project triangle, but is indirectly defined through the elements of the project triangle (time, cost, scope). The authors of the research carried out so far listed the elements of the project triangle and defined success criteria of the projects by group, among which the individual elements of the project triangle were classified. We expect to confirm the hypothesis that there is a connection between the elements of the project triangle and success of projects.
Society: Our research will confirm the dimensions of the project triangle concept and show the influence of its elements on the most common groups of success criteria, with the help of which companies measure the success of projects. This research will show which elements of the project triangle and criteria are given greater importance by the scientific literature, which represents a starting point for optimization in the field of managing various types of projects.
Understanding the concept of the project triangle and its role in the creation of success criteria will help the various stakeholders involved in project management to be more motivated to monitor the elements of the project triangle and that this will allow them to manage more effectively, which in turn also affects their commitment in performing project duties.
Limitations / further research: The topic under discussion has been well studied for the past 20 years, although it has undergone a great deal of theoretical transformation. At the same time, we note that the theoretical treatment is not followed by scientific research, as it mainly covers the field of methodology, factors and strategies for the success of project management in the construction industry or on large investment projects, in the field of IT and healthcare.
Proposals for further research will be made in order to conduct research on this topic in other industries and on other types of projects and on several different stakeholders and/or stakeholder groups involved in project management.

118. Nastajanje voditelja skozi izkušnjo v času : sv. Ciril in Metod v luči sodobnih sistemskih teorijMarija Šimenc, 2025, original scientific article Abstract: Raziskava interdisciplinarno povezuje koncept služabniškega voditeljstva (leadership-a) z življenjskim zgledom sv. Cirila in Metoda. V kvantitativni fazi (N=186) spletna anketa razkriva visoko internalizacijo altruističnih vrednot med slovenskimi cerkvenimi voditelji in voditeljicami, a hkrati rahlo diskrepanco, ki jo z leti izkušenj blaži prosocialna orientacija (ženske > moški; daljša izkušnja > krajša). Kvalitativna faza skozi Clintonov šestfazni model in okrožnico Slavorum Apostoli (Janez Pavel II. 1985) pokaže, da solunska brata ponazarjata longitudinalni razvoj od temeljev do žarenja, kjer krizo spreminjata v katalizator rasti. Predlogi za formacijo poudarjajo: (1) fazno duhovno zorenje, (2) kulturno senzitivnost, (3) relacijsko empatijo, (4) strateško inovativnost, (5) etično integriteto in (6) krizno resilientnost. Sv. Ciril in Metod ostajata brezčasen arhetip za preseganje polarizacije in gradnjo trajnostne slovenske cerkvene skupnosti v 21. stoletju. 119. S kvalitativnimi metodami raziskave so analizirani normativni viri, z metodo komparacije in sinteze pa so oglaševalska sporočila razčlenjena v tematske kategorije. Z nadaljnjimi raziskavami model omogoča aplikacijo v druge industrije.
