Employing a qualitative approach, data was collected through synchronous focus groups conducted in six Southeast European countries. The findings reveal that social networks play a pivotal role in shaping public opinion, with organizational position and relationships influencing communication effectiveness. Cognitive frames significantly impact public perception, with entrenched beliefs guiding interpretation of information. Meanwhile, social institutions, such as language and communication rules, influence the clarity and accessibility of messages, thereby shaping public understanding. The research underscores the need for deeper research, ethical standards, and transparent communication to build and maintain public trust. Continuous engagement with the public and adaptability in communication strategies are essential for fostering mutual understanding and trust. This research emphasizes social forces’ complexity and overlapping nature in shaping public opinion and the strategic approaches required for effective communication in Southeast Europe. 2. The impact of leadership on the project success in non-profit organisations : doctoral dissertation of the third Bologna cycle thesis program in Project managementAmin Saidoun, 2023, doktorska disertacija Opis: After an extensive exploration of non-profit organizations (NPOs), it has become evident that the success rate of their managed projects remains low. A key contributing factor is the lack of awareness regarding the crucial role of project management competences in achieving project success. This research endeavours to bridge this awareness gap by delving into the impact of leadership, specifically through Leader-Leader exchange (LLX) and shared values as specific leadership competences, project team result orientation, and personal communication -critical project management competences- on project success within NPOs. The thesis is organized into ten chapters to systematically address the relationship between these competences and project success. After the introduction, in the second chapter, we revisit pivotal success factors in NPO projects. The third chapter presents a mixed research methodological approach, mainly based on structural equation modelling, the bootstrap method, applied to data collected from an international survey conducted between March and May 2023. This survey targeted over 100 NPOs, involving 205 participants. Complementing the quantitative approach, focus groups and ethnographic interviews, as part of the qualitative research method, were conducted to validate and enhance the findings. The fourth chapter describes the assumptions, limitations and restrictions. The fifth chapter summarises the feedback from practice and its discussion. The core findings, presented in the sixth chapter of the dissertation, underscore the significance of leadership and shared values in enhancing project success within NPOs. Notably, personal communication emerges as a crucial moderating variable that amplifies the impact of leadership and shared values on project success. A noteworthy research finding is that the result orientation competence of the project team exhibits a higher influence on project success compared to the positive effect of the project manager's leadership competence. These results, including the development of a research model applied for the first time to NPOs, contribute to valuable insights into the dynamics of project management within NPOs and offer strategic implications for enhancing their project success. Chapters seven, eight and nine describe respectively the discussion of the results, the conclusion and the contribution to science. Chapter ten addresses some recommendations for practice and directions for further research. 5. VPLIV KOMUNIKACIJE NA FIZIOTERAPEVTOVO POČUTJE NA DELOVNEM MESTUMaša Oblak, 2020, diplomsko delo Opis: Namen raziskave je bil proučiti ali uspešna komunikacija pozitivno vpliva na fizioterapevtovo počutje v kolektivu, ali zadovoljstvo na delovnem mestu pozitivno vpliva na njihovo vzdušje ter, ali se jim zdi pomembna medosebna komunikacija, saj odločilno vpliva na uspešnost dela. Podatki so bili zbrani s pomočjo anketnega vprašalnika. V raziskavi je sodelovalo 80 fizioterapevtov in študentov fizioterapije. 97,50% anketirancev je menilo, da učinkovita komunikacija v ustanovi pomembno vpliva na lastno motivacijo in dobro počutje. 77 oseb ali 96,20% anketirancev je bilo mnenja, da zadovoljstvo na delovnem mestu pozitivno vpliva na vzdušje med zaposlenimi. Na vprašanje ali se jim medosebna komunikacija zdi pomembna, saj odločilno vpliva na uspešnost dela pa se je strinjalo vseh 100% anketirancev. Iz pridobljenih podatkov lahko sklepamo, da je uspešna komunikacija ključnega pomena tako zasebno, predvsem pa na delovnem mestu. Da bomo na delovnem mestu imeli uspešne odnose s sodelavci je potrebno, da smo v komunikaciji z njimi odprti, da odkrito povemo svoje mnenje ter v primeru nesoglasij stvari razčistimo in se pogovorimo. Če se na delovnem mestu pojavijo konflikti ni to nič slabega. Konflikti namreč niso nič drugega kot drugačna mnenja, ki so izražena ob napačnem času in napačnem kraju ob neprimernem tonu sogovornika. V primeru konflikta pa je ključno, da se s pravilno komunikacijo stvari razrešijo. Posledica konflikta pa pripelje do slabega počutja, ki pogosto pogojuje tudi stres, ki ga lahko nehote prenašamo med sodelavce, ki pa so ključni za uspešno opravljeno delo. Zaradi konfliktnega okolja lahko trpi celoten kolektiv, posledično pa tudi kakovost in uspešnost dela. 6. Near field communication (NFC) kot nov način za uporabo bančnih storitev : diplomska nalogaGregor Godler, 2015, diplomsko delo Opis: Način plačevanja bodisi v trgovini ali na banki je že od nekdaj isti, spreminja se samo tehnologija izvedbe plačila oziroma transakcije. Nekoč smo morali iti fizično na banko, da smo izvedli transakcijo, danes pa lahko s plačilno kartico izvedemo plačilo skoraj povsod ali pa kar doma s svojega računalnika, vse pogosteje pa tudi kar s svojega pametnega telefona. Pametni telefon je naprava, ki bo nadomestila naše denarnice in nam olajšala vsakodnevna opravila. Tudi pametni telefoni so z vsakim dnem bolj napredni, dobivajo novo tehnologijo in prinašajo nove izzive. Tak primer je brezstična tehnologija NFC, ki so jo s pridom izkoristili ponudniki plačilnih kartic kot tudi izdelovalci pametnih telefonov. V celotnem plačilnem sistemu je med seboj povezanih veliko različnih akterjev, ki jih bom preučil in preveril, ali smo že pripravljeni na brezstično plačevanje, ter izpostavil trenutne slabosti brezstične tehnologije.
