Opis: The intention of this diploma work is to show the relationship between the strategies that company chose and the social changes that its strategy brings, due to the delicate nature of the market and the fact that the company is perceived by its customers or the market/distributors based on the moves made by the company. It is not all about trade which is the core in almost every industry, but what you offer to the market besides that. If you are offering the fair trade goods on the market, you are essentially a trader, but it's not that simple because you are also promoting social awareness about the unfair trade conditions all over the world. So the strategy that the company selects and consequently social impact are interrelated and mutually important because the public image is everything in the business and this image is maintained by making the right choices when it comes to company policies. Employment policy, organizational strategy, organizational development etc. are just some of the crucial aspects in running a successful organization.

The development of real estate management and infrastructure market in Kosovo
Drini Grazhdani, 2015

Opis: On the selected topic of The Development of Real Estate Management and Infrastructure Market in Kosovo, I was mainly focused on explaining how the real estate market developed in Kosovo, what were the challenges and the triggers that contributed to the development of this market. I also used the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) key component of real estate markets frameworks and applied it to Kosovo context as means to evaluate the current state of development of this mark using key principles of this framework and assessing the extent to which these principles have been applied in Kosovo. The thesis gives an elaborated explanation of the real estate market development before and after the war, and particularly the market disruption caused by the Serbian aggression in Kosovo, including the period of the 90’ when the legal framework governing the property transaction between ethnicities was discriminatory. The thesis looks at the rules and functions that govern the real estate market and explains how these functions were developed in the past 15 years – the post war period in Kosovo.

Technologies and Innovations in Regional Development

Opis: The subsequent volume revolves around the Social-Fields-Approach (SOFIA) as an approach to conceptualisation and operationalisation for the purpose of empirical research. It contributes a new perspective and approach in research on innovation. We believe that SOFIA can have implications for both academic research and practical applications in reshaping the existing instruments and governance arrangements in innovation policy. Whilst aplying SOFIA, we urge researchers to leverage the plurality of different qualitative, quantitative and mixed-method approaches in innovation studies, including less conventional methods, such as QCA (Ragin, 2008). Diligent application of SOFIA can also subsequently lead to the development of high-level theoretical contributions.
