Title:Criticism of the ‘Learnification’ Paradigm in Higher Education in Gert Biesta’s Works

Abstract:Purpose: This paper presents arguments and contra-arguments related to the dominant ‘learnification’ paradigm in higher education based on Gert Biesta’s selected works. Study design/methodology/approach: The methodology is a deep and critical analysis of Gert Biesta’s views on the dangers of the widespread ‘learnification’ paradigm in education. Findings: . The criticism focuses on six areas, namely on (1) purpose of education, (2) learning, (3) teaching, (4) role of the students, (5) role of the teachers, and on (6) curriculum, didactics, and pedagogy. Originality/value: We believe that our paper is a modest contribution to the recent discourses and critical debates in education.

Title:Kritika paradigme »učenja« v visokošolskem izobraževanju v delih Gerta Bieste: pregledni članek
Abstract:Namen: To je kratek pregledni članek, ki predstavlja argumente in protiargumente, povezane s prevladujočo paradigmo »učenja« v visokem šolstvu, na podlagi izbranih del Gerta Bieste. Želim zagovarjati in deliti svoja stališča o vprašanjih, ki so sodobna, pomembna, vznemirljiva in koristna drugim v visokem šolstvu. Zasnova/metodologija/pristop študije: Metodologija je kombinacija poglobljene in kritične analize stališč Gerta Bieste o nevarnostih razširjene paradigme »učenja« v izobraževanju in osebnih stališč avtorjev. Za povečanje verodostojnosti ta pristop zahteva navedbo stališča avtorja. Ugotovitve: Kritika se osredotoča na šest področij, in sicer na (1) namen izobraževanja, (2) učenje, (3) poučevanje, (4) vlogo študentov, (5) vlogo učiteljev in (6) učni načrt, didaktiko in pedagogiko. Izvirnost/vrednost: Menim, da je ta članek s stališčem skromen prispevek k nedavnim diskurzom in kritičnim razpravam v izobraževanju ter bo ustvaril nadaljnje razprave o »učenju«.
