Pričujoče magistrsko delo prikazuje pomen ergonomije in slabše delovne pogoje, zaradi katerih delavec sicer prejema boljše plačilo, vendar ob tem škoduje svojemu zdravju in zadovoljstvu.

Abstract:A vast part of a person's life is spent at their workplace. Therefore, it is of great importance that this workplace is appropriately ergonomically designed and that it serves both the psychological and functional needs of a worker. Inadequately ergonomically designed workplace can eventually lead to certain bodily injuries and consequently to dissatisfaction and health problems of the employees. People seek jobs and go to work in order to receive financial resources that enable them to survive. However, many do not take into account how a company supports employees% health, what kind of substances they will be dealing with in the line of their work and how night shift or health hazards at work may affect them. The body given to us and health are our most valuable assets that must be maintained and supported in order to be able to serve us for many more years to come. This master's thesis examines the importance of ergonomics and poor working conditions. The latter usually brings about better payment, but it also compromises an employee%s health and workplace satisfaction. The theoretical part suggests how to improve a workplace, working environment and working conditions. The aim of the empirical work is to identify the differences among companies employing disabled people and those who only hire non-disabled worker, the differences among administrative and production line workers, and the problems companies face in individual departments.
