Abstract:V današnjem svetu si težko predstavljamo uspehe brez nenehnega učenja in šolanja, kar za sabo privede neizbežno potrebo po obvladovanju črk in številk. Nemalo otrok v svetu črk in številk vidi težavo. Pravimo jim dislektiki.

Abstract:We can hardly imagine success nowadays without constant learning and schooling, which leads to inevitable need to master letters and numbers. A considerable number of children sees trouble in the world of letters and numbers. We call them dyslectic people. Dyslectic people can have problems at school and with learning, especially if their treatments through years has not been appropriate. We have researched perception and treatment of a high school student with dyslexia from different point of view. We have been researching how a dyslectic person is treated by legislation, school system, schoolmates. The purpose has been to find out if there are differences in perception of dyslexia, to find problems, connected with it, and meet a person who has a similar problem. We wanted to inform people about dyslexia and its problems with our work. We have found out that the respondents are aware that dyslexia is a permanent state, they recognize its symptoms and treatment – they treat the dyslectic person as one of their own and they are prepared to help him whenever needed. The dyslectic person does not feel any special problems considering integration and inclusion in the class. We have found out that the help, written in legislation, does not perform entirely. The school system and parents do not cooperate as well as they should. Even though, they are a support for the dyslectic person when he needs help. Family also has an important role for support, help, and education of a dyslectic person.
