Opravila sem štiri poglobljene polstrukturirane intervjuje, s tremi ženskami in enim moškim.

Abstract:Theme of my thesis is the connection between the understanding of personal freedom and developed attachment stylein the primary family and in next close relationships. Special attention was dedicated close relationship and choosing of the partner. Starting point of discussion was the fact that the attachment style developed by individual in childhood also influences understanding of the freedom. Therefore was my primary concern to establish how the interviewed persons understood personal freedom in the primary family and to what degree was this understanding present at all. Those findings were then connected with style of attachment developed by the person. I was interested in the message of freedom, expressed by different attachment style. My qualitative research is based in theory of attachment by John Bowlby and Mary Ainsworth. In questionnaire for semistructured interview I’ve tried to include those basic needs of individual, that could be satisfied in family, as they are quoted by Gabi Čačinovič - Vogrinčič. I have done four deep semistructured interviews with 3 women and 1 man. Hypotesis was verified with definitions of attachment styles by John Bowlby and Mary Ainsworth and with Interview of attachments in adulthood. I am aware, that the freedom had very complex meaning, so I was in the context of my thesis predominantly searching for possible factors of psychological of physical violence in relationships. Presence of flexible or inflexible beliefs, presence of acceptance and respect was also checked. Results show that childhood attachment styles are mostly transfered into a close relationship, which means, that interviewed persons have chosen partner, who made this possible. Answers also showed, that interviewed persons usually fulfilled same needs in close relationship as in the primary family. Based on their answers I determined what kind of attachment is involved and their corresponding adult versions. Since I’ve tried to evaluate in each answer presence of “the freedom”, i came expectantly to conclusion, that the notion of freedom in the securely attached families was far more present then in the rest. The basic need were fulfilled as well. Those families expressed more tolerance and respect. Members of those families showed higher level of trust and more often shared their emotions.
