Title:Uporaba lokalno pridelane hrane v vrtcih : diplomska naloga

Abstract:Tema diplomske naloge je uporaba lokalno pridelane hrane v vzgojno-izobraževalnih ustanovah, in sicer v vrtcih. Namen naloge je raziskati področje prehrane predšolskih otrok, saj mlajši otroci oziroma otroci v fazi odraščanja potrebujejo čim bolj kakovostno, uravnoteženo in zdravo hrano, ki je izrednega pomena za njihov razvoj. Teoretični del naloge zajema pregled problematike. Najprej je predstavljena oziroma opredeljena zdrava – uravnotežena hrana, nato zdrava prehrana otrok, kjer je prikazano, kakšna mora biti prehrana otroka in zakaj je pravilna prehrana tako pomembna za otroke v dobi odraščanja. Iz tega razloga se prehranjevanje otrok spremlja na nivoju države, ki narekuje razne prehranske direktive. Prehrana in prehranjevalne navade so namreč v obdobju otroštva zelo pomembne, saj vplivajo tudi na kasnejša obdobja v življenju. V ta namen so nadalje opisani sam pomen lokalne hrane in njene glavne prednosti ter stanje lokalnih pridelovalcev pri nas. Na koncu sledi še poglavje, v katerem so zajete posledice nezdravega prehranjevanja in s tem pogojene težave, ki jih povzroči neustrezno prehranjevanje že v otroški dobi. Empirični del diplomske naloge zajema kvalitativno raziskavo, v kateri sem s pomočjo intervjujev želela ugotoviti, ali v slovenskih vrtcih, natančneje v vrtcih na območju južne Primorske, uporabljajo lokalno pridelano hrano, s kakšnimi problemi se soočajo pri nabavi lokalne hrane in ne nazadnje, ali je v Sloveniji dovolj lokalnih pridelovalcev, ki bi priskrbeli zadostno količino živil. Moje zanimanje je bilo usmerjeno tudi na starše otrok, in sicer v smislu sprejemanja/zavračanja lokalnih pridelkov ter njihovih navad v domačem gospodinjstvu.

Abstract:The major theme of my diploma work is the use of locally grown food in educational institutions, primarily in kindergartens. The purpose of my work is to research the nutrition field of preschoolers, because children at younger age need quality, balanced and healthy food, which is important for their further development. The theoretical part of my work covers problematics of the subject. At first we represent healthy and balanced food in general, then we focus on healthy children nutrition, where we show the importance of healthy eating for kids in their growing ages. We observe children nutrition statewise, where the state has it´s parameters for balanced nutrition. Nutrition itself and nutrition habits are very important in young ages, as well as later on in life. With this in mind, I described the meaning of local-grown food and it´s main priorities and also the status of local food-growers. In the ending chapter I wrote about consequences of unhealthy nutrition and problems that go with it, mainly the problems originate from inappropriate nutrition at younger age. The empirical part of my work covers qualitative research, in which I tried to discover if the nurseries in Southern Primorska region are using local-grown food, if they have any problems getting it and most of all, if there are enough local farmers in Slovenia who can provide certain amount of food that we use and eat. I also tried to contact the children´s parents with questions about the usage of local crop and eating habits in their home environment.
