Abstract:In March 2020, an epidemic of covid-19 was declared in Slovenia. To curb the spread of infections, the state has taken measures related to the restriction of personal contacts, borders, the closure of schools, kindergartens and businesses, work from home, and so on. Anti-crown measures aimed at mitigating the effects of the epidemic have had a major impact on employees and the rest of the population. Safety at work and ensuring a safe working environment are the responsibilities of every employer, and preventing the possibility of the spread of infections in the workplace is no exception. It should be noted that employers were completely unprepared for such a threat. It turned out that in the Republic of Slovenia there is almost no employer who would have a properly prepared risk assessment, which prevented rapid and successful action by employers. The purpose of the diploma thesis is to describe in detail and define the attitude of employees to anti-crown measures, employee satisfaction in the workplace during the epidemic and their coping with challenges during the covid-19 epidemic. The practical part of the diploma thesis was based on a survey questionnaire, which we designed with the help of existing literature and compiled with the free application 1KA. Based on the research, we found that as many as 70% of respondents said that preventive measures before the epidemic had not taken place and that companies had not made a risk assessment. We also found that 59% of respondents said that the corona supplement had a positive / motivating effect on them.
