Title:Exploring The Role of Engagement in Learning Within a Rescue Department Community of Practice

Abstract:Purpose: The purpose of this study is to explore how engagement in a CoP within the rescue department could support learning, knowledge sharing and professional development. Study design/methodology/approach: A qualitative study based on focus group interviews was conducted exploring the context of work and learning in the rescue department. The two groups represented firefighters and fire officers. Findings: Engagement in the CoP is shaped by peer support, facilitation, intrinsic motivation and flexible participation, while organizational structures and leadership practices influence sustainability. Originality/value: This paper provides new insights into CoP dynamics in the emergency services, highlighting the importance of inclusive practices, adaptive leadership, and digital facilitation to foster engagement.

Title:Raziskovanje vloge angažiranosti pri učenju znotraj skupnosti prakse reševalne službe
Abstract:Namen: Namen te študije je raziskati vlogo angažiranosti pri gradnji skupnosti praks (CoP) znotraj reševalne službe in njen vpliv na učenje na delovnem mestu, izmenjavo znanja in strokovno rast. Zasnova/metodologija/pristop študije: Ta kvalitativna študija je uporabila fokusne skupinske intervjuje z gasilci in gasilskimi častniki, ki jim je predhodil intervju s strokovnjakom, da bi raziskala kontekst dela in učenja znotraj reševalne službe. Ugotovitve: Ugotovitve kažejo, da angažiranost v skupnosti praks reševalne službe spodbujajo dejavniki, kot so medsebojna podpora, spodbujanje, notranja motivacija in fleksibilno sodelovanje. Ti elementi so skupaj s podpornimi organizacijskimi strukturami in prilagodljivimi vodstvenimi praksami ključni za gradnjo in vzdrževanje skupnosti praks ter vplivanje na učenje na delovnem mestu, izmenjavo znanja in strokovno rast. Izvirnost/vrednost: Ta članek ponuja nove vpoglede v dinamiko skupnosti praks v reševalnih službah, pri čemer poudarja pomen vključujočih praks, prilagodljivega vodenja in digitalnega spodbujanja za spodbujanje angažiranosti.
